I love being part of the Clarion West community and every summer I look forward to when meeting the new workshop participants, attending the readings, and joining the Write-a-thon. I've discovered since joining this community that I wasn't the only lonely kid, reading books in the corner, and just surviving because of the next great space adventure. It turns out, my people were here all along! And they've been patiently writing my favorite inspirational stories all this time. It's during very stressful times like this that I turn to speculative fiction to motivate me and keep me going. So, thank you, writers! Whoever and wherever you are, you make a world of difference and your stories matter! 

This is my 8th Write-a-thon with Clarion West and to celebrate, I plan to write two short stories and six more terrible speculative poems. If you support my page, you too can enjoy some of my terrible poetry — I'll send it to you in the mail. 

I'll also match every donation to my page toward the Write-a-thon, up to $500.

Participants are listed in alphabetical order by first name. You may want to confirm with your writer to find out if they are using their public name, a nickname, or a pseudonym.
