Description

Ever wonder how there can be so many anthologies about cats?  Join author Seanan McGuire as she walks you through the process of writing 'bespoke' stories for themed anthologies. Bring a writing utensil you're comfortable with, and be prepared to try and reconcile weird creative elements into a single story.

This in-person class will be held at Hugo House in Seattle, Washington. There is no virtual option.

Class will start at noon and end at 3:3pm, with a half-hour break at 1:30 pm.

Please bring something to write with and a refillable water container. Light snacks and drinks will be available at the Hugo House snack bar, in addition to the many dining options in the neighborhood.

There may be several classes in the building at the same time; please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time to check in and find the classroom. Paid parking is available on the streets and in the adjoining lot. We encourage you to consider public transportation. The closest sound transit station is Capital Hill a 10-15 minute walk away.

Masking is required for this class at the instructor's request.
