The Projects:

I’m hoping to use these six weeks to make progress on my novel, which has no logline but DOES have corpse art, corpse fandom, mother-daughter road trips, and—obviously—a murder or two. Historically speaking, however, my write-a-thon ambitions tend to go a bit sidewise, and I may well end up finishing short stories (about time travel, time loops, or somnambulist detectives, respectively) and/or fanfic (H/C, Emotional H/C, and ALL THE ANGST) instead.

The Rewards:

Donations of any amount are awesome and appreciated! For $20, I will watch and write a review (about 250-500 words) on any movie or TV episode that you choose and post that review on my blog. (Max of 2 per sponsor.) For $50, I will write a much more in-depth review or genderbent essay (1000+ words, probably way more) on any movie or TV episode that you choose and post it on my blog. (Max of 1 per sponsor.)

Here are some examples of shorter reviews, longer reviews, and genderbent essays. (I do ask the movies be under 2.5 hours—I will not watch Gone with the Wind for you—and needs to be available to stream or rent in the US. But otherwise, feel free to pick mostly anything and/or punish me with terrible TV or films!)
